# digi vs Big Clock

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: digi at none against Big Clock's 4. digi also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.0). Big Clock's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (weekly vs every 4 months). On price, review sentiment and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Big Clock sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. digi asks for nothing beyond the download.

digi holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Big Clock has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

digi ships an update every 4 months, Big Clock weekly. The most recent releases landed on September 26, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
