# Math vs Kindergarten Math

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Kindergarten Math at 100% against Math's 48%. Kindergarten Math also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.5) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 16.0). Math's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (7.9K vs 3). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Math sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month and Kindergarten Math sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Kindergarten Math holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Math has 7.9K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 48% of Math's written reviews are positive against 100% of Kindergarten Math's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
