# Math vs Twinkl Maths

The clearest difference is rating: Math at 4.5 against Twinkl Maths's 1.0. Math also leads on ratings volume (7.7K vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Math sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month and Twinkl Maths sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Math holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Math has 7.7K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Math ships an update monthly, Twinkl Maths every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
