# Keyword vs Speed Puzzle Timer

The clearest difference is ads: Speed Puzzle Timer at none against Keyword's shown. Speed Puzzle Timer also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and update cadence (fortnightly vs monthly). Keyword's advantage is ratings volume (219 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.0). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Keyword sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $3.99 per year and Speed Puzzle Timer sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Speed Puzzle Timer holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Keyword has 219 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Keyword ships an update monthly, Speed Puzzle Timer fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
