# Shiftify vs SimpleShift

The clearest difference is ads: SimpleShift at none against Shiftify's shown. SimpleShift also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). Shiftify's advantage is update cadence (every 6 days vs every 3 months). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Shiftify sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and SimpleShift sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Shiftify ships an update every 6 days, SimpleShift every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on September 22, 2026 and September 11, 2026 respectively.
