# Step Forward vs Concrete Gym

The clearest difference is update cadence: Step Forward at fortnightly against Concrete Gym's every 3 months. Concrete Gym's advantage is monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Step Forward ships an update fortnightly, Concrete Gym every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
