# DuoCards vs Memorize Flash Card Maker

The clearest difference is rating: DuoCards at 4.7 against Memorize Flash Card Maker's 3.7. DuoCards also leads on ratings volume (1.4K vs 3) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). Memorize Flash Card Maker's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 63%) and update cadence (fortnightly vs monthly). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DuoCards sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month and Memorize Flash Card Maker sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

DuoCards holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DuoCards has 1.4K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 63% of DuoCards's written reviews are positive against 100% of Memorize Flash Card Maker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

DuoCards ships an update monthly, Memorize Flash Card Maker fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
