# R Discovery vs Thesis+

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Thesis+ at none against R Discovery's 6. Thesis+ also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15). R Discovery's advantage is ratings volume (910 vs 1). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. R Discovery sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $11.99 per month. Thesis+ asks for nothing beyond the download.

Thesis+ holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: R Discovery has 910 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
