# TYKO vs Learn English

The clearest difference is update cadence: Learn English at every 3 weeks against TYKO's every 5 months. Learn English also leads on iOS requirement (14.0.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TYKO sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Learn English sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TYKO ships an update every 5 months, Learn English every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
