# BlinBerry vs Жар

The clearest difference is rating: Жар at 4.1 against BlinBerry's 3.7. Жар also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and ratings volume (4.2K vs 31). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Жар holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Жар has 4.2K ratings behind it against 31, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 23% of BlinBerry's written reviews are positive against 37% of Жар's.

BlinBerry ships an update every 3 weeks, Жар fortnightly. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
