# BBA Connect vs Office Word

The clearest difference is review sentiment: BBA Connect at 100% against Office Word's 35%. Office Word's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.2) and ratings volume (9.7K vs 5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BBA Connect sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and Office Word sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Office Word holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Office Word has 9.7K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of BBA Connect's written reviews are positive against 35% of Office Word's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

BBA Connect ships an update every 2 months, Office Word every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
