# BBA Connect vs Word Editor

The clearest difference is review sentiment: BBA Connect at 100% against Word Editor's 22%. BBA Connect also leads on monetization model (freemium vs subscription). Word Editor's advantage is ratings volume (729 vs 5) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BBA Connect sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and Word Editor sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Word Editor holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Word Editor has 729 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of BBA Connect's written reviews are positive against 22% of Word Editor's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

BBA Connect ships an update every 2 months, Word Editor every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
