# EMMO vs NYIS

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: NYIS at none against EMMO's 11. NYIS also leads on ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (100% vs 78%). EMMO's advantage is ratings volume (29K vs 18) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, rating and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. EMMO sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. NYIS asks for nothing beyond the download.

NYIS holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: EMMO has 29K ratings behind it against 18, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 78% of EMMO's written reviews are positive against 100% of NYIS's.

EMMO ships an update every 3 weeks, NYIS every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
