# AmGuru vs Brink's OTA

The clearest difference is update cadence: AmGuru at every 5 months against Brink's OTA's every 11 months. Brink's OTA's advantage is iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.1). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

AmGuru ships an update every 5 months, Brink's OTA every 11 months. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and February 25, 2026 respectively.
