# 极简天气 vs Nothing Weather

The clearest difference is rating: 极简天气 at 4.3 against Nothing Weather's 3.4. 极简天气 also leads on update cadence (every 10 days vs every 6 months) and ratings volume (28 vs 5). Nothing Weather's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 7) and ads (none vs shown). On price, review sentiment, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 极简天气 sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Nothing Weather asks for nothing beyond the download.

极简天气 holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 极简天气 has 28 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of 极简天气's written reviews are positive against 70% of Nothing Weather's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

极简天气 ships an update every 10 days, Nothing Weather every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
