# Ready vs Bamboo

The clearest difference is rating: Bamboo at 5.0 against Ready's 3.7. Ready's advantage is ratings volume (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 26.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ready sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Bamboo sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Bamboo holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 3 and 1 respectively.

Ready ships an update monthly, Bamboo every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
