# Edesis vs FMV Parla

The clearest difference is review sentiment: FMV Parla at 50% against Edesis's 20%. Edesis's advantage is rating (2.4 vs 2.0) and ratings volume (16 vs 3). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Edesis holds the better App Store score, 2.4 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Edesis has 16 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 20% of Edesis's written reviews are positive against 50% of FMV Parla's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Edesis ships an update every 10 days, FMV Parla every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
