# Dots Crush vs Block

The clearest difference is ads: Block at none against Dots Crush's shown. Block also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months). Dots Crush's advantage is iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Dots Crush sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Block sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Dots Crush ships an update every 3 months, Block fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
