# 英語を学ぶ vs Basic

The clearest difference is update cadence: 英語を学ぶ at every 2 months against Basic's every 22 months. 英語を学ぶ also leads on iOS requirement (9.0 vs 12.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 英語を学ぶ sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Basic sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

英語を学ぶ ships an update every 2 months, Basic every 22 months. The most recent releases landed on September 24, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
