# CLOS vs Parallel Camera

The clearest difference is rating: CLOS at 4.5 against Parallel Camera's 4.0. CLOS also leads on ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (53% vs 33%). Parallel Camera's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CLOS sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Parallel Camera sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CLOS holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CLOS has 126 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 53% of CLOS's written reviews are positive against 33% of Parallel Camera's.

CLOS ships an update every 5 weeks, Parallel Camera fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
