# Counter vs Finn Notes

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Finn Notes at none against Counter's 4. Finn Notes also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 67%) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Counter's advantage is ratings volume (47 vs 6) and iOS requirement (12.1 vs 16.6). On price, ads, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Counter sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Finn Notes asks for nothing beyond the download.

Finn Notes holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Counter has 47 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 67% of Counter's written reviews are positive against 100% of Finn Notes's.
