# Magic Eraser vs Photo Air

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Magic Eraser at 1.7K against Photo Air's 9. Photo Air's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 86%). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Magic Eraser sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Photo Air sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Photo Air holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Magic Eraser has 1.7K ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 86% of Magic Eraser's written reviews are positive against 100% of Photo Air's.

Magic Eraser ships an update every 3 weeks, Photo Air fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
