# MyGabb vs X

The clearest difference is review sentiment: X at 100% against MyGabb's 11%. X also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.5) and iOS requirement (15.5 vs 17.0). MyGabb's advantage is ratings volume (8.2K vs 19). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

X holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MyGabb has 8.2K ratings behind it against 19, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 11% of MyGabb's written reviews are positive against 100% of X's.

MyGabb ships an update fortnightly, X every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
