# MyGabb vs Mason Pro

The clearest difference is rating: Mason Pro at 5.0 against MyGabb's 4.5. Mason Pro also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). MyGabb's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (8.2K vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Mason Pro holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MyGabb has 8.2K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

MyGabb ships an update fortnightly, Mason Pro every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
