# Deer vs TouchMind

The clearest difference is ratings volume: TouchMind at 37 against Deer's 6. On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Deer sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and TouchMind sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 3 months. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Deer against 4.8 for TouchMind. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TouchMind has 37 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 89% of Deer's written reviews are positive against 86% of TouchMind's.

Deer ships an update every 9 days, TouchMind every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
