# Deer vs Mind Map with Brainstorm/AI

The clearest difference is rating: Deer at 4.8 against Mind Map with Brainstorm/AI's 4.2. Deer also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 9 days vs every 2 months). Mind Map with Brainstorm/AI's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 89%). On price, ratings volume, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Deer sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Mind Map with Brainstorm/AI sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Deer holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.2. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 6 and 5 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 89% of Deer's written reviews are positive against 100% of Mind Map with Brainstorm/AI's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
