# Z vs Zero

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Z at 516 against Zero's 12. Z also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Zero's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 83%) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Z against 4.8 for Zero. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Z has 516 ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 83% of Z's written reviews are positive against 100% of Zero's.

Z ships an update every 2 months, Zero every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
