No more over-exposed and over-saturated videos. This app allows you to record 4K and HD videos with a flat, log color profile, which can be used in color correction software (not included in the app). It allows you to get more control over color tones and better exposure. It records in a wider dynamic range with flattened colors, so that you have maximum control in post-production. Do the colors look grey and washed out? Thatβs exactly the intention. The videos are captured with a log profile, meaning low contrast, low saturation and extended exposure range.Β You get up to 2 stops of extra dynamic range, preserving highlights and shadows ! Recorded videos must be corrected with editing tools, such as DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere, AVID Media Composer and Final Cut Pro. In grading, you should boost saturation, add contrast and lift the gamma curve. You can also use LUTs (for Sony, Panasonic, RED, Canon or Blackmagic), to see which preset color correction looks best on your shots. Record in 24, 25 or 30 frames per second. Select 4K or HD resolution. Choose from 5 flat color profiles: OFF, CINE, M-LOG1, M-LOG2, M-LOG3 Focus, ISO and exposure are automatically adjusted.

Your phone's camera makes creative decisions for you the moment you tap the shutter. Every photo you take gets compressed, color-corrected, and locked into a JPEG before you ever see it β the moody sky, the true skin tones, and the shadow detail you didn't even know was there, all decided instantly and irreversibly. Snapback RAW captures the real thing: RAW. RAW is what professional photographers have always used β every detail your camera sensor actually captured, with nothing thrown away and nothing baked in. It's more powerful than JPEG, giving you greater flexibility and control when editing your photos. Editing RAW was hard. Not anymore. With Snapback RAW, just say what you want β and the AI helps you find the right edit. For example, type "make the sky more dramatic" or "brighten my face," and Snapback's AI searches a huge library of controls, picks the ones that create the effect you asked for, and applies them for you. Better still, it shows you exactly what it did β the full list of controls it used β so you can fine-tune and finalize the edit yourself. No tutorials. No hunting through dozens of sliders wondering which one does what. Want more control? You can fine-tune your photos yourself using professional manual editing controls. Everything Snapback RAW can do: Capture true RAW photos directly from your iPhone camera. Edit RAW photos with AI-powered selection. Tap to select areas and objects in your photos for precise editing. Use professional manual controls to fine-tune your edits. Edit your photos with a full suite of professional-grade controls. No account. No sign-up. No cloud photo library. Your photos stay on your device, giving you control over your images and editing workflow. Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Flat Color Camera at none against Snapback's 1. Flat Color Camera also leads on ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.6). Snapback's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 74 months). On price and device support there is nothing between them.
