# Dedrone City vs TAK Tracker

The clearest difference is review sentiment: TAK Tracker at 67% against Dedrone City's 25%. TAK Tracker also leads on monetization model (free vs subscription) and ratings volume (8 vs 1). Dedrone City's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Dedrone City holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TAK Tracker has 8 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 25% of Dedrone City's written reviews are positive against 67% of TAK Tracker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Dedrone City ships an update every 6 weeks, TAK Tracker every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
