# imp™ vs My Dial

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: imp™ at none against My Dial's 1. imp™ also leads on ratings volume (12 vs 1) and iOS requirement (12.1 vs 18.5). My Dial's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. My Dial sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. imp™ asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for imp™ against 5.0 for My Dial. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: imp™ has 12 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

imp™ ships an update every 2 months, My Dial every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
