# Just Dice vs Dice

The clearest difference is rating: Dice at 4.9 against Just Dice's 1.5. Dice also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 months). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Just Dice sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Dice asks for nothing beyond the download.

Dice holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 1.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Dice has 91 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Just Dice ships an update every 5 months, Dice fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
