# Consult+ vs RockBase

The clearest difference is rating: Consult+ at 4.1 against RockBase's 2.8. Consult+ also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 5 months) and ratings volume (22 vs 4). RockBase's advantage is review sentiment (77% vs 58%) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Consult+ holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Consult+ has 22 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 58% of Consult+'s written reviews are positive against 77% of RockBase's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Consult+ ships an update weekly, RockBase every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
