# Whooo? vs Party Charades

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Whooo? at 33K against Party Charades's 156. Whooo? also leads on update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 6 months). Party Charades's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.3). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Whooo? sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Party Charades sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Party Charades holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Whooo? has 33K ratings behind it against 156, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 19% of Whooo?'s written reviews are positive against 17% of Party Charades's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Whooo? ships an update every 6 weeks, Party Charades every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
