# Master Miner vs Gem Miner 3D

The clearest difference is rating: Gem Miner 3D at 4.5 against Master Miner's 3.3. Gem Miner 3D also leads on ratings volume (147 vs 3). Master Miner's advantage is review sentiment (33% vs 0%) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 11 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Master Miner sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Gem Miner 3D sells 11 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Gem Miner 3D holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Gem Miner 3D has 147 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of Master Miner's written reviews are positive against 0% of Gem Miner 3D's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
