# Par 4 Resort vs MockOut

The clearest difference is rating: Par 4 Resort at 5.0 against MockOut's 3.9. Par 4 Resort also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.0). MockOut's advantage is ratings volume (91 vs 2) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Par 4 Resort holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MockOut has 91 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Par 4 Resort ships an update every 3 months, MockOut every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
