# Graphing Calculator 84 vs MathNotes

The clearest difference is rating: Graphing Calculator 84 at 4.6 against MathNotes's 4.0. Graphing Calculator 84 also leads on ratings volume (5.1K vs 3). MathNotes's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Graphing Calculator 84 sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and MathNotes sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
