# Thenics vs Pearlz

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Thenics at 992 against Pearlz's 14. Pearlz's advantage is update cadence (every 9 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Thenics sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Pearlz sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Thenics against 4.9 for Pearlz. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Thenics has 992 ratings behind it against 14, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Thenics ships an update every 3 weeks, Pearlz every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
