# Thenics vs Go Upsidedown

The clearest difference is rating: Thenics at 4.8 against Go Upsidedown's 1.0. Thenics also leads on ratings volume (993 vs 1). Go Upsidedown's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 4) and review sentiment (100% vs 85%). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Thenics sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Go Upsidedown asks for nothing beyond the download.

Thenics holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Thenics has 993 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 85% of Thenics's written reviews are positive against 100% of Go Upsidedown's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Thenics ships an update every 3 weeks, Go Upsidedown monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
