# YoHo vs Rubi

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Rubi at none against YoHo's 10. Rubi also leads on review sentiment (74% vs 59%). YoHo's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). On price, rating, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. YoHo sells 8 one-off in-app purchases. Rubi asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.3 for YoHo against 4.3 for Rubi. Written reviews are what separate them: 59% of YoHo's written reviews are positive against 74% of Rubi's.

YoHo ships an update weekly, Rubi every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 27, 2026.
