# Proton Drive vs Nupza

The clearest difference is update cadence: Nupza at every 4 days against Proton Drive's fortnightly. Proton Drive's advantage is chart position (#201 vs unranked) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Proton Drive sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Nupza sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Proton Drive ships an update fortnightly, Nupza every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
