# Proton Drive vs ConnectBetter Chat

The clearest difference is rating: ConnectBetter Chat at 5.0 against Proton Drive's 4.1. ConnectBetter Chat also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 9) and update cadence (every 2 days vs fortnightly). Proton Drive's advantage is ratings volume (1.3K vs 1). Both are free to download. Proton Drive sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. ConnectBetter Chat asks for nothing beyond the download.
