# NG Flight Simulator vs AR Spirits Box

The clearest difference is price: AR Spirits Box at Free against NG Flight Simulator's $1.99. AR Spirits Box also leads on ratings volume (2.2K vs 113). NG Flight Simulator's advantage is ads (none vs shown). On rating, review sentiment, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

AR Spirits Box is free to download; NG Flight Simulator costs $1.99 up front. NG Flight Simulator sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and AR Spirits Box sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AR Spirits Box holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AR Spirits Box has 2.2K ratings behind it against 113, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 53% of NG Flight Simulator's written reviews are positive against 47% of AR Spirits Box's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

NG Flight Simulator ships an update every 9 days, AR Spirits Box every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
