# Hot 104.7 vs 3e Encore

The clearest difference is rating: Hot 104.7 at 3.5 against 3e Encore's 2.3. 3e Encore's advantage is review sentiment (38% vs 0%) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Hot 104.7 holds the better App Store score, 3.5 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 3e Encore has 15 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of Hot 104.7's written reviews are positive against 38% of 3e Encore's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Hot 104.7 ships an update every 9 months, 3e Encore every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
