# FlightBag vs CTOT

The clearest difference is monetization model: CTOT at free with in-app purchases against FlightBag's subscription. FlightBag's advantage is review sentiment (75% vs 47%) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FlightBag sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and CTOT sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FlightBag ships an update every 5 days, CTOT every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
