# VideoToLive vs Orb

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Orb at none against VideoToLive's 3. Orb also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 weeks) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). VideoToLive's advantage is ratings volume (43 vs 1) and iOS requirement (11.2 vs 17.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VideoToLive sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Orb asks for nothing beyond the download.

Orb holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VideoToLive has 43 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

VideoToLive ships an update every 3 weeks, Orb every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
