# Spark Direct vs Journey LIVE

Spark Direct and Journey LIVE both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 80% of Journey LIVE's written reviews are positive against 67% of Spark Direct's. Journey LIVE also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, rating, ratings volume and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Spark Direct holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 19 and 15 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Spark Direct's written reviews are positive against 80% of Journey LIVE's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
