# Numerade vs MathMaster

The clearest difference is rating: MathMaster at 4.6 against Numerade's 4.3. MathMaster also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs fortnightly) and ratings volume (12K vs 643). Numerade's advantage is review sentiment (49% vs 31%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Numerade sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and MathMaster sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MathMaster holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MathMaster has 12K ratings behind it against 643, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 49% of Numerade's written reviews are positive against 31% of MathMaster's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Numerade ships an update fortnightly, MathMaster every 4 days. Both last shipped on October 15, 2026.
