# Numerade vs Solvo

The clearest difference is ads: Solvo at none against Numerade's shown. Solvo also leads on rating (4.6 vs 4.3) and chart position (#161 vs unranked). Numerade's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Numerade sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and Solvo sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Solvo holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Solvo has 5.7K ratings behind it against 644, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 49% of Numerade's written reviews are positive against 53% of Solvo's.

Numerade ships an update every 2 weeks, Solvo fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
