# Numerade vs DMV Prep

The clearest difference is ads: DMV Prep at none against Numerade's shown. DMV Prep also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 2 weeks). Numerade's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Numerade sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and DMV Prep sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Numerade ships an update every 2 weeks, DMV Prep every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
