# Hello HuGo vs BuyNothing

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Hello HuGo at 85% against BuyNothing's 27%. Hello HuGo also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 8) and rating (4.7 vs 4.3). BuyNothing's advantage is ratings volume (2.1K vs 58) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs monthly). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BuyNothing sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Hello HuGo asks for nothing beyond the download.
